LESSON 46
CHOOSING YES FOR YOUR LIFE
In Lesson 46 of the My Agreements with Me for Believers workbook, we are discussing why Choosing Yes for Your Life"is significant. when you are able to trust God, trust yourself, and listen to the inner voice (Holy Spirit), you can put God first and then yourself and still be able to show up for others. Learning how to practice Choosing Yes for Your Life will help you with being your most authentic self.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
“I take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today that I have put life and death before you, the blessing, and the curse; you must choose life so that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving Jehovah, your God, by listening to his voice, and by sticking to him, for he is your life, and by him, you will endure a long time in the land that Jehovah swore to give to your forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob”.
Free will is a precious gift from God. There are no limits or boundaries to what you can say yes to in this life. When you decide to say yes, you can trust God, trust yourself and listen to the inner voice of the Holy Spirit.
Saying yes, is a powerful statement. It shows character traits of being bold and courageous. When opportunities cross your path, say yes to new experiences and open doors. Say yes, when your voice is shaky, and you are met with anticipated fear. Saying yes, will lead to a fuller life and will add to your life the potential you never knew you had. Saying yes brings miracles and opportunities that will exceed your expectations.
Take a moment and think about three opportunities that crossed your path you said yes to.
— What was the feeling you felt when it was presented to you?
— How did it feel when you said yes?
— where did it lead you?
Reminiscing on the tangible lane of you saying yes will remind you of just how wonderful that three-letter word is. The power of yes expands your territory, it’s giving God free will to reign over your life to give you the abundance he created you to have. It’s stepping out in faith and stomping on doubt and fear. It is showing up for yourself in your life in a positive and productive manner. When you come in agreement with God, with every decision you choose to say yes to, you become unstoppable.
