In Lesson 48 of the My Agreements with Me for Believers workbook, we are discussing the importance of taking "Your Next Step." In order to grow and not decay, you allow yourself to be transformed into a willing participant of receiving and contributing by always moving towards your vision. Consequently, there is a law of circulation God has created that is always in motion. Just as the blood flows throughout our bodies to pump the heart and keep us alive, there is also this flow of giving and receiving. Being aware of how this shows up in our day-to-day lives is not only imperative to our feeling of success and wellbeing, but it also demonstrates your commitment to execute your “authentic desires” towards your vision.

Isaiah 43:18-19

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

Taking your next step is significant because it is a demonstration of a continual commitment towards God's inspired vision for your life. Your next step is all about growth.

You might be questioning how you move on to the next step? What does it look like? Where do you get started? The answer to these questions is, change your mindset, change your life. Your mindset is an attitude, a way of thinking or a habit. This has everything to do with your journey. When you make God and the Bible your foundation, you will begin to be transformed, and your mind begins to be renewed; thus you begin to see the very image of God in you. The ultimate goal is to look more and more like Christ, not to be stagnant or stuck.

We all have a purpose to fulfill and getting to this place where you have arrived in lesson 48, you have had every tool available to you to accomplish your next step. The world is literally your playground, and you get to decide with the leading of the Holy Spirit how you are going to play in this game of life. God is with you always, take heart, he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and when he prompts you to move forward with your next step, move!

Deuteronomy 31:6- So be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
