Before you follow a guru, go to a retreat or spend thousands of dollars to be an exclusive VIP member on a deal that's almost sold out...
You should know that what's behind the curtain is often times smoke and mirrors. It's not what it looks like on stage and when you pull back the curtain after the show to see what
really goes on behind closed doors- I can tell you that it's not what you would have expected to see. You'd be shocked and disappointed about the contradiction.
If you're in a difficult season of your life and you're searching for clarity, direction,
purpose, how to heal your relationships or to uncover or release pain or anger of past hurts,
resentments or unforgiveness- I'm going to suggest that you take a time out to spend time with yourself and God.
And, if the word "God" triggers you in any sort of way, that in itself is reason enough to investigate and go on a journey of self discovery.
I was sitting with a friend over dinner and she was telling me about a super difficult situation she was experiencing, and the assumption she had made about herself because of it. It was painful to hear and after listening I asked her a few personal and powerful questions, and asked for permission to give some feedback. She agreed and then responded with "Wow, I never thought of it that way". Her shift was immediate, she applied the insight and it lifted her mood and gave her something to go home and journal about. She was actually prepared to make changes and she was excited about it. It was a transformational moment and I was honored to be a part of it.
It wasn't me, I'm not that special. It was just the Truth about her that comes from a knowingness because of time spent in understanding the blessings and everyday miracles of having a relationship with God and understanding His word. (again if the word God or Bible triggers you for any reason or if you have to use Spirit, Source, Energy, Universe, etc.
that in itself is reason enough to investigate and go on a journey of self discovery.)
You have no idea what what future blessings and miracles will be in store of you when you decide to walk in the Spirit. And, if in reading this little bit, you felt a nudge or had an inkling, that my friend is your intuition telling you that this is the exact right time for you to spend time with yourself and God to examine and explore.
